Hey, let me introduce myself.
My name is Luke and I’m the creator of the Coffee Pursuits.
I’m a huge espresso fan, a dad, and a caffeine junkie (which helps a lot in being a dad to an early bird) ;).
And yeah, shame on me but I remember the times when I was the usual chain coffee shop drinker. Fortunately, it has changed with my very first trip to Portugal.
I will never forget the taste of my first real espresso. But to be honest it wasn’t just this. It was the whole coffee culture that brings people together. A culture where every time is great for a coffee break. And this was probably my biggest takeaway from this trip.
It made me curious about coffee in general. I started exploring, experimenting, reading about coffee, testing different brewing methods. Testing different coffee machines, learning about different cultures, and meeting new interesting people.
And this is exactly the reason why I decided to start the Coffee Pursuits project. Not only because I love learning new things, but most of all because I like sharing my knowledge.
In my opinion, being a coffee lover has nothing to do with being a snob. It’s more about love, passion, and experience that you can share with other people.
