Step 3: Pour Water in the Pot and Insert the Filter Basket 

Now add around 100 ml of hot water to the pot, and insert the filter basket to its bottom. Add some coffee to the basket, and level it with your finger.

Now screw the top and bottom together. Don’t over tighten it, and always use hot pads during this process to avoid scalding your hands.
